He holds an LL.M. from New York University School of Law and worked as an international associate in the Washington, DC office of one of the world's leading international arbitration firms.
Due to his strong academic background and professional experience in both Mexico and the United States, Emilio is ideally positioned to advise clients in disputes involving both Mexican and U.S. law.

- He is part of the team representing a leading Mexican online gambling company in a multi-jurisdictional dispute, involving court proceedings in Mexico and the United Kingdom, as well as an ICC arbitration in London.
- Represented a Mexican entertainment company in an arbitration related to the alleged termination of a stock purchase and sale agreement due to circumstances arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
